Change often begins when we stop fighting who we are long enough to understand who we are becoming. That’s a line I come back to a lot, because it describes something I see in session again and again: people arriving exhausted from the effort of managing themselves, and slowly, over time, finding a different relationship with their own experience.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and stress, relationship concerns, identity questions, and major life transitions. If you’re caught between your own thoughts and everyone else’s expectations of you, that belongs here too.

My approach starts with genuinely hearing you. I work from a person centered foundation, which means I’m not arriving with a fixed plan for who you should become. I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, and Motivational Interviewing depending on what you actually need. We might explore patterns keeping you stuck, build practical tools for hard emotions, or slow down enough to clarify what matters most to you. Usually some combination of all of it.

My clinical background spans outpatient therapy, community mental health, and higher-acuity psychiatric settings. I’ve worked with a wide range of concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, neurodivergence, trauma, psychotic-spectrum conditions, and substance use. I earned my graduate degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and my bachelor’s in Psychology from NYU.

I offer therapy in English and Mandarin, and I’m always interested in how family, culture, and identity shape what someone is carrying.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what to say. We can start with whatever feels most present and go from there. If this resonates, I’d love to connect.
