The decision to start therapy is usually the biggest hurdle. Not in a dramatic way, just that showing up for yourself, even when things feel messy or unclear, is its own kind of courage. My job is to make that easier, not harder.

I work with children, adolescents, college students, and adults. Depression, anxiety and the particular weight of life transitions bring a lot of people to me. I also work with relationship concerns, self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, and identity exploration, those quieter questions about who you are and where you're headed that don't always have an obvious name.

My approach starts with you. I'm trained in CBT, person centered and psychodynamic frameworks, and Motivational Interviewing, and I draw from each depending on what actually fits. With kids, I incorporate play based techniques, because children often make sense of things through doing and playing before they can put it into words.

I care deeply about cultural sensitivity and working with people from diverse backgrounds. My experience in community mental health has shaped how I think about context: family, culture, and identity aren't separate from what you're carrying in therapy. They're part of it.

I earned my M.Phil.Ed. in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and my bachelor's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. We can start wherever you are and move at a pace that actually feels manageable. I'd love to connect.
