I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, work-related stress, life transitions, and multicultural or identity-related concerns. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or simply seeking greater fulfillment, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself and create meaningful change.
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step. It takes courage to share your story, especially when life feels uncertain or painful. My goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships, and find new ways of navigating life's complexities with greater confidence and ease.
As the child of immigrant parents, I grew up witnessing the challenges of balancing multiple cultures, navigating belonging, and finding connection in unfamiliar spaces. I saw firsthand the resilience that individuals, families, and communities can develop when facing adversity. These experiences continue to shape my work as a therapist and inform my commitment to supporting people from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences.
My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. I believe therapy works best when we work together to build insight, strengthen relationships, and develop practical tools that support lasting growth and healing.
Before becoming a therapist, I earned a degree in computer science and spent 15 years working in the fast-paced world of financial services. Having experienced the pressures of high-stress professional environments firsthand, I understand many of the challenges that can come with balancing work, relationships, identity, and personal well-being. This perspective allows me to connect with clients facing burnout, career stress, and the demands of modern life.
Outside of the office, you'll often find me exploring Seattle with my wife and our two energetic young children, searching for the city's best boba tea, spending time outdoors, or planning our next family adventure. As a lifelong New Yorker at heart, I remain a loyal fan of the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks.
