Clinical Supervisor
Position Overview:
Seattle Counseling and Wellness (SCAW) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor. Supervisors are responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical staff of SCAW. The Supervisor will provide clinical supervision or consultation as needed to clinicians at their location, support clinicians in following policies and procedures, and promote a positive work culture at their location. The Supervisor will also provide 15 hours of direct clinical services to clients at SCAW. This position is a W-2 position, and requires up to 25 hours of combined direct clinical services to clients and oversight of clinician’s therapy services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Hold an active, unrestricted doctoral license (Psy.D., Ph.D.) in the state of Washington

Supervise and oversee clinicians – up to 10 hours weekly.

Provide 15 hours of clinical services to clients at SCAW.

Hold interviews with candidates for employment.

Communicate/coordinate with Onboarding Coordinator when new clinicians are hired.

Understand and follow all policies and procedures of SCAW as a Supervisor and clinician.

Be proactive and responsible in holding clinicians accountable in note content and timeliness, marketing/blogging(if applicable), and overall performance of their job duties via in person informal check ins.

Check in monthly as a group with other Site Supervisors and Clinical Director regarding processes and/or procedures, including proposed changes, clinical issues and successes.

As needed, provide formal case consultation to fully licensed clinicians at 30 minute intervals.

If applicable provide formal supervision in 1-hour intervals to provisionally licensed clinicians.

Manages their clinical team and provides accountability, performance evaluation, hiring and structuring of the clinical team.

Proactively work towards improving the practice’s client experience and ensure client satisfaction by way of supervising clinicians.

Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Director of Client Experience on improving overall client and employee experience.

Ability to identify areas where we need improvement clinically and in client experience and initiate the improvement measures.

Other site supervisory/related duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:

At least 2 years of supervision experience, overseeing direct clinical work of licensed clinicians or students in training.

Knowledge of the roles and duties of SCAW leadership and clinical positions and functions.

Knowledge of SCAW client experience goals and how to achieve client satisfaction.

Must be punctual in reporting to work.

Be organized and detail oriented.

Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
COVID-19 considerations:
All clinicians are meeting with clients remotely either from our office or home (clinician can choose to work in office or at home until we are back in the office full time - hopefully in 2021!).
