As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I offer individual and couple’s psychotherapy for teenagers aged 12-17 as well as adults aged 18 and older

Healing from trauma requires a space where you feel entirely safe, deeply heard, and never judged. I partner with individuals aged 12 and older and their care team with signed consent to navigate  life’s most challenging moments, specializing in trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and symptom management and stabilization, and complex life transitions. My approach is rooted in the scientific research findings and strong belief that everyone possesses an innate capacity for healing and recovery based on their strengths, access to resources, continued adaptation, and neuroplasticity, and my role is to support you in creating your own recovery path.

As a trauma-informed, culturally responsive clinician, I am certified and specialized in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also tailor to your unique needs and pace by incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and compassion-based mindfulness practices. These evidence-based approaches allow us to process distressing memories, desensitize the painful charge, and associate with promising closure. Whether you are an adult processing years of accumulating stress or a teenager dealing with modern social pressures and adverse experiences, I prioritize safety and growth in every person-centered session.

My practice integrates relational support, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to ensure safety and autonomy throughout the therapeutic process. For my adolescent clients, I blend EMDR with creative, age-appropriate strategies that honor their developmental independence while offering a secure space to heal. For adults, I provide a collaborative, informative space to dismantle old, unhelpful patterns and build lasting resilience. I foster client’s social connectedness and growth mindset and these further sustainable therapeutic outcomes.

My biggest hopes for every client I am honored to work with are navigating a prideful path towards a life of genuine peace, connection, and flourishing.
